For over ten years, we made lapel pins for our customers but they were never our focus area. We never even promoted our lapel pins; if our customers asked, we made it for them, that’s it. I guess lapel pins were too small to get our attention. But then everything changed…
We met a passionate Indian Air Force Pilot and his wife (she was a part of Pinnacle’s sales team). They insisted that they wanted a 3D aircraft pin for three Aircrafts (IL76, AN32, AN12) of the Indian Air Force as a memorabilia gift for the unit, perfect with all details. Something no one was able to give them and something we had never made too!
3D lapel pins are one of the most difficult pins to make, especially when an Indian Air Force Pilot who flies high in the sky with pride and honor is your customer. They wanted to get every little detail on that tiny pin. 🙂
It was a lot of work and a lot of learning, but we made sure that we delivered what was expected. And when the pins arrived, it was an absolute wow moment for us!

Colossal wonder is a 3D miniature replica of your logo, symbol, or product. It’s the most difficult one to make and yet something we enjoy making the most. We highly recommend our Colossal Wonder pin if you have the budget or the occasion you are celebrating is really special.
World over this is considered as a tiffany in lapel pin finishes!
Your artwork is etched in metal and enamel colors are filled by hand with extreme precision. The pin now undergoes a series of treatments, including heat, to harden the enamel and give it a flat and gleaming top surface that stays intact for years together. The reason why many collector edition pins are made using this process. Needless to say, this finish comes at a cost.
This is how probably lapel pins were first made. A flat logo or symbol dye-casted in metal and electro-plated to perfection. In this particular style, it’s the classic and timeless finish of the metal plating that makes it look sturdy and prized. No other colorwork is done which adds to its classy vintage appearance.
It’s true 50% of the Lapel pins we make at Pinnacle are finished in this style.
In this finish, an element of your design is given a 3D flat look. This makes the element stand out. Overall the pin looks beautiful and way different from the flat etched pins.
Vibrant pins are your best choice when your artwork has a multicolor image.
We use special inks and processes to ensure that the print stays well on the pin and never fades. Additionally, the printed artwork is protected with our Epoxy Dome, which is available in two thicknesses.
As the name suggests, this is the standard finish we offer in lapel pins.
Here your logo/artwork is engraved, and where ever required, enamel color is filled to add color to the artwork. The enamel is air-dried. Even while this is the standard finish we offer, it is sufficient for many requirements. Simplicity is good too.
