And this is in continuation to my series of Online Reward Management Programs and Softwares.
So there”s one question which I get asked a lot of time is that Nidhi what do you think is a good Online Reward Management company? Which company is doing well? You work with so many companies, so tell us what they are using.
Just we wanna get feedback. So why will, I don’t think I can yet pick one of my favourite companies Yet, but I can definitely tell you this that two most important thing that you should take care while you are selecting an Online Reward Management company is
One – It should not just be a software company Ahh Software companies one, I have seen many companies who are purely a software driven companies and now they have folded up. Because Software cannot be the at the heart of the system. Even while software is one of the key drivers. Because if the program doesn”t run well and people are not able to give points, redeem points, run the catalog, its of no use.
But, just remember that, that software working point is probably not Not just 4 or 5 % also of the whole ecosystem . And secondly and most importantly, The fulfilment company, it should not just be a company who is started by a Group of people who knew the software and who could set up the Fulfillment company where, they could just buy products from xyz and they set up the whole network, so that whoever redeems whatever they redeem as a gift is available to them, and you can just get it easily. Uhh, It may, on the face of it, it may sound like, O yeah , whats the new thing that you are sharing. Of course, we know that it should not be a fulfilment company and Of course we know it should not just be a software company .They has to be more than a heart and soul for it.
But , Uhh…You would be really surprised, how many , how many people are making decisions based on this. How many companies think, Ohhh ! Yeah ! You know what ? We have an incentive program and that company does fulfilment very well . Like really. Think about it because this is . Think about it because, this online reward management is just one aspect of it and it cannot , it cannot , uhh, Replace your recognition, or not even, it can not even support your recognition program, if it does not come from a place of true appreciation, If it does not come from a place of people really understanding What Drives people ? What Inspires people ? What Motivates people ? Its not going to be of any use, any use.
I have seen, in the past 18 years that I have been in this field. I have seen a lot of companies put so much of an effort You know.Ummm….Its surprising that how because like at Pinnacle we run a lot of long service awards programs and, so suddenly when online redemption program is put , sometimes those programs are put to an halt because they are like Ohh! Its getting revamped. Sometimes programs are put on a halt for Six, Nine, one year or 2 years also. Just because it is getting revamped. And then, after sometime, we see people are coming back to Uhh…Not doing anything or the software selection did not happen. So, I am just saying that, the fundamentals if we just care , take care of the basics fundamentals a lot can be taken care. Lots of heart burns, lots of wasting of energy, and people and resources can be put at check.
