We Were Always 100% Women-Owned, But Now We Have a Certificate to Prove It

It all started when we were filling a registration form for a large corporation in India to register Pinnacle as a vendor..the kind we have done a hundred times before. 

Then came the question: Are you a women-owned business?
Our answer was a resounding “Yes!”

But then came the follow-up question: Upload your certificate.

Now, we did have our company registration papers with both directors clearly listed as females, Pinnacle was started by a mother daughter duo, but apparently, that wasn’t going to cut it. So we began our search for an official stamp of approval.

We wanted more than just a local certificate; we wanted something that would hold weight globally. We’ve been steadily building Pinnacle into a global supplier for creative awards and recognition, so the certification needed to match that ambition. That’s when we found WEConnect International, an organization that connects women-owned businesses to global supply chains and verifies them with a rigorous, internationally recognized process.

After the paperwork, verifications, interview and a fair bit of back-and-forth, we are proud to say: Pinnacle got officially certified in 2024 as a Women-Owned Business, by WEConnect International.


Why This Means More Than Just a Tagline

For us, “women-owned” isn’t just a checkbox on a form, it’s the way we’ve always worked, led, and grown. It shows up in our values, our decisions, and the way our team feels about coming to work. Here’s what it really means at Pinnacle:

Honestly this certification doesn’t change who we are; it simply puts a globally recognized seal on what’s always been true. And as we continue to grow our partnerships worldwide, it’s nice to have that little extra proof in hand.

So yes, we were always a 100% women-owned business. But now, if anyone asks, we have the certificate to show.
