During the COVID-19 pandemic, when many of us found ourselves working from home, our table space suddenly became a precious commodity. The same space that was once reserved for relaxation and family time was now our office. It was an adjustment, to say the least. However, what truly struck me during this time was the resilience of great leaders who continued to prioritize recognition, even in these challenging circumstances. We were requested to ship awards directly to people’s homes during this time. Recognition was finding its way into our homes, and it was truly heartwarming.
But amidst all this, a thought began to take shape in my mind–
What if we could reimagine recognition as something more than just an office tradition?
What if we could transform it into something like art, seamlessly integrated into our homes?
For decades, we’ve grown accustomed to seeing recognition in a particular light, following the same old patterns. But what if we could break free from those conventions? What if we could redefine the way we recognize achievements?
And that’s when it hit me – I wanted to craft recognition that felt like art.
Perhaps the seeds of this idea had been quietly germinating in my mind all along. After all, as a product designer with a passion for art, it seemed like a natural direction to explore.
The birth of an idea is always exhilarating. However, the real excitement lies in bringing that idea to life. For me, this is the best part of the creative process. It’s where the magic happens – the trials, the errors, the experimentation with different materials.
And eventually, the realization that paper would be the perfect canvas for this artistic venture. I must confess, I have a soft spot for paper. It has always fascinated me. So, when we decided to create these unique Recognition Wall Art pieces, I knew it was going to be close to my heart.
Everything we do at Pinnacle revolves around recognition and appreciation, and we’re constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. This project was no different. The journey began, and it took us a whopping six months to bring that first design to life. Yep, you read that right – six months! Those tiny triangles we used to create our art refused to cooperate, like a rebellious jigsaw puzzle. But we were determined to make it perfect.

Our current series includes the words Awesome, Unstoppable, Thank You, Together, RockStar, SuperStar and more. These aren’t just words; they’re sentiments. Sentiments that convey appreciation, gratitude, and celebration.
3. Symphony of Colours
The Unstoppable series is made of stunning, vibrant hues in an ombre effect. The first is a warm and fuzzy celebration of red, orange and yellow. These hues exude positivity and energy. The second series is all about cool blues, greens, and yellows that inspire unity and collaboration. In corporate settings, most awards are generally gold, silver or bronze, these are however, artistic pieces that would look beautiful in people’s homes or workplaces.
4. Typography That Tells a Story
We custom design the typography for every award in this series as you will notice every other letter is in negative space, it’s not fully visible – a beautiful metaphor for recognition itself. It’s a story about achievers whose success is based on many factors, some that are seen, and some remain unseen, but together, they all lead to victory. It’s about acknowledging both kinds of efforts, the hard work that often goes unnoticed but deserves just as much acclaim. It’s like saying, “Hey, there’s more to success than what meets the eye.”
5. Art that is built up one layer at a time
The various paper triangles and the many layers of paper stuck together have a deeper significance – any organisation, project or target achievement requires the collaboration of multiple people at multiple levels of the organisation, all coming together in harmony to achieve the goal. Pretty much like these tiny pieces of paper set in precision to create a perfect blend of letters and colours.
6. Beautiful Packaging with a Card
Each piece is lovingly nestled in a luxurious box lined with soft velvet, giving you that “I’m about to uncover something amazing” feeling. And guess what? There is a small card in the box and you can write a personal message inside, making it an even more cherished keepsake.

You can add your own text and a small logo, embracing the minimalist trend that’s gaining momentum. Many companies are opting for simplicity in recognition, focusing on the essentials – the recipient’s name, the award’s name, and the company logo.
