WELCOME TO PINNACLE

Hi! I am Nidhi, Founder of Pinnacle.

I am so glad you are here. Welcome to Pinnacle.

One of my earliest memories of ‘work’ was assembling ribbons for electronic typewriters. Two spools of black ink ribbon, interestingly called pancakes, had to be fixed inside a plastic cassette with tiny gears that ensured ribbons moved seamlessly from one spool to another on every strike as they left their imprint paper.

I was ten years old, and this was 1986. My workspace, our bedroom floor. My mother, our team leader, and my brother, eight and me, her assistants.

We 3 were not the only ones assembling, but yes when you have hundreds of ribbons to be assembled and short staffed you get all hands on board. We had our own factory in Rajasthan where the white ribbons from Germany turned black as they were dipped in ink from Spain.

My father was an incredible man who always saw ahead of his time and travelled across the world in the 1980’s to bring some of the most remarkable solutions to India for the computer peripherals and parts industry. His most priced possessions were hundreds of glossy thick catalogues direct from manufacturers from all across the world.

Whenever someone needed something, he knew exactly where to source it. Whenever I went to his office as a child, someone was there to seek his advice or find a solution to their problem. He was their Google.

Sadly I lost him even before I finished my education. Never got a chance to work with him. But in the little time that I did spend with him, I learned my most important lessons. Lessons that are still guiding me today.

"Always keep learning. No matter how and where you have to travel or how much you have to invest, Go Deep. Give people solutions that no one else is offering. Don’t be afraid to be the first one."

Twenty-five years later, I am still following my father's footsteps. Products have changed, but the approach is the same.

I keep learning from artists, designers and thinkers from all across the world, and I use all this mixed mashup of knowledge to design and make amazing awards and trophies, the likes people may not find anywhere else, the likes that make people feel truly appreciated instead of just being handed over a piece of plaque.

I am my father’s daughter, and at Pinnacle, we are on a mission to help companies get the most from the recognition and appreciation programs. Giving awards and trophies that have a meaning, a story, for a moment of appreciation can be powerful, could be life-changing for some and with our awards and trophies, we want them to matter. We want them to be remembered.

Would love to connect and know more about your recognition and appreciation stories and if we can do anything to make them even more remarkable.
