Why Pinnacle is your Best Source for Aircraft Pins?

Its an Art to reduce a mammoth size aircraft to an inch sized Lapel Pin which you can proudly wear.

An art we love at Pinnacle…

An art we are perfecting with every new Aircraft Pin we design and make….

We know every Lapel Pin we make becomes a prized possession and we treat it that way.

Just to give a little perspective, Aircraft Ilyushin Il-76 is about 1836 inches long, compared to that our miniature is just 1.5″. In real size, it’s like a speck of dust which I have encircled red in the picture. But even in that small a size we try and get as much detailing as possible.

After all, we are making it for people who are connected with the aircraft.

All we need are some Pictures of the Aircraft

Be it an aircraft, a fighter jet or a warbird, all we need from you are pictures of your aircraft from different angles and we will turn them into tiny miniature lapel pins just about an inch or two in size getting as many details of the aircraft as possible in that size.

Real 3D Aircraft Pins not the standard flat 2D

A real aircraft pin should always be in 3D and not the normal flat 2D. There is not much fun and challenge in making flat 2D pins for aircrafts.

We are not saying we don’t make 2D pins just that its not really challenging. But if your project demands a 2D pin we can do it too. The design skills and casting process required for 3D aircraft pin is quite complicated and over the years we have perfected it just a bit more.

Gold or Silver, Satin or Bright

Choose the color you like for your lapel pins to be finished in. We offer many different finishes however Gold and Silver are the most popular ones and within that also we offer two shades Satin finish or Bright Gold.

  • Bright Gold
  • Satin Gold
  • Bright Silver
  • Satin Silver

Once plated, all aircraft pins are coated with a special anti-tarnish and anti-rust coating.

NONE of our Aircraft Pins will leave any holes in your clothes.

The last thing you want is a lapel pin which pokes a hole in your uniform or your favourite coat.

That is something which will never happen with our pins for we always take care of the small things. For small things matter.

Number One reason for Lapel Pins poking holes is the use of Iron.

When you have iron in your lapel pins it will tend to rust or corrode over time. Once the pin corrodes, the edges of the pin loses its sharpness. When you wear it, it does not slide through your coat easily and instead pulls away some thread.

Second most common reason is the tip of the lapel pins is not finished very well.

It has just a tiny amount of roughness left in it.. Even this tiny amount is enough to pull out a wrong thread from your coat or worst the airplane pin does not go through your shirt at all as it gets stuck.

It’s Pewter And Lead Free

As per European Union Standard, no metal product especially the one which comes in contact with human skin should contain lead. As exposing the skin to lead can cause many skin diseases and even cancer.

This is the reason why our lapel pins are all lead-free.

In fact, not only that our pins are lead free they are also made in a lead free factory so their are no chances of contamination.

We make all our lapel pins and aircraft pins in Pewter which takes the tiny details of our aircrafts beautifully. Their is no iron in our lapel pins so NO rusting what so ever.
